This trout fishing fly is a Muddler version of the famous Kate McLaren lough fly. Designed to be dibbled in the surface film. I have included a Muddler head of dark brown deer hair and cheeks of fluorescent yellow biots. The standard “Kate” is a great lough fly fished for wild brown trout all over Ireland and the UK.
