- I first tied this trout fishing fly about six years ago, basing the dressing loosely on a Mayfly pattern I had seen in Trout and Salmon Magazine for the River Test.
- At first it was not very popular and I was going to discontinue it.
- Then in 2010 some anglers on Lough Corrib had great success with it and since then it has become one of my most popular dry mayflies.
