• The butcher series of trout flies have somewhat lost their appeal to many flyfishers.
• Recently I have varied the original patterns with painted eyes and holographic bodies.
• They are still one of the best fry imitators for wild browns or rainbow trout.
• In this new variation of the Kingfisher Butcher I have incorporated a wing of dark blue deer hair for mobility and retained my white eyes.
