One of Ireland’s most famous trout flies. It is still widely fished and a great point fly in sizes # 8 and # 10 in a team of wets during the mayfly season.
A big favourite still on Lough Erne, it will fish anywhere.
It is probably taken for the ascending mayfly nymph when fished on a team of three wets.It is fished on all the great loughs of the west from the start to the end of the season.
